Annealed tie wire, also called black iron wire, soft annealed and tie wire, is a soft wire that is easily bendable and suitable for manual tying and bundling.

Annealed tie wire is used throughout the construction and manufacturing industries. Common uses include bundling reo, lengths of steel, and mesh.

Also known as handy coils, belt pack coils or rebar coils, belt coils are small coils of 1.57mm annealed tie wire wound into small coils of 1.42kg designed to be used in the “IDEAL” style reeler.

The wire in the belt coil is usually lightly oiled to prevent rusting and is wrapped individually in grease proof paper, and then packed 10 coils to a carton.

There are plenty of inferior quality belt coils available in the market today, with problems such as the wire being too brittle, not annealed properly or breaking when twisted.

Concept Wire Industries belt coils have been supplied to all of the major reinforcing wire manufacturers in Australia for the last 10 years with no complaints. Our belt coils are fully annealed, lightly oiled and made from high quality feed material. This ensures a soft malleable wire that twists easily and cuts cleanly.

The same wire in the belt coils is also available in 3, 5 and 10kg handy coils.

• Available in two different sizes, brick mesh is designed to strengthen and reinforce brickwork. This in turn reduces cracking in brick walls and maintains integrity within the brick structure.
• Manufactured from hot dipped galvanised wire.

Our stellar posts are available in all the common sizes ranging from 450mm to 2400mm, as well as available in the standard black bitumen coating or the hot dip galvanised coating.

Posts are also available in standard duty and heavy duty.

Standard duty posts are 1.58kg/m and heavy duty posts are approx 30% heavier at 2.04kg/m.

For light industrial, garden and hardware applications we recommend the standard duty stellar post. The heavy duty stellar post is recommended for heavy duty rural applications.

Bag Tie Twisting Tool (Rod Tying Tool) – Part No. AHT or MHT

For use in quickly applying bagties.

Crescent Style Nippers - 250mm – Part No. TCP250CV

These are the Crescent® style nippers with large rounded jaws. Manufactured in chrome-vanadium steel, the large strong jaws provide great leverage for providing a tight twist. The handles are double dipped for extra long protection.

Knipex Style Nippers - 250mm – Part No.TC250CV

These are the Knipex® style nippers with a small rounded jaw ensure you can twist and cut tie wire in the tightest locations. The nippers are manufactures in chrome-vanadium steel, and the handles are double dipped for extra long protection.

Mini Bolt Cutters – Part No. TMBC

These smaller versions of the larger bolt cutter are the prefect tool for cutting most wire types up to a diameter of 4mm. The lever action, together with hardened jaws ensure a clean and easy cut every time.

A new product in 2010, this Australian patented post lifting tool is like no other post lifting tool currently on the market. With the patented gripping system, the SPL-C can grab the fins of the stellar post (also known as starpost®) from as low as 3” or 7cm from ground level. Therefore even when the post is hammered into the ground with only the top showing, as long as there is still 3” (75mm) showing the post can still be easily and effectively pulled out of the ground so that it can be used time and time again.
